Questions Frequently Asked

The Lyon Dragon Boat Festival is an event open to all, whether you are a sportsperson or not.

Dragon Boat is a sport in which everyone can find their place and their role to play.

There is no particular physical aptitude to have, except for any medical contraindication for the practice of the sport (check with your doctor!).

It is advised to be wearing sportswear, such as jogging clothes, adapted to the weather conditions.

On site, the staff will provide you a paddle and a buoyancy aid.

It can happen that the boat capsizes but this is very rare. Our professional helmsperson will be able to give you all the right advice to avoid capsizing.

You will be equipped with buoyancy aids and each boat will have an experienced Canoe-Kayak state-certified helmsperson on board to ensure your safety in the event of a capsize.
